Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 2, 2026
GadgetGlow Bytes participates in affiliate programmes. Some articles contain links that earn us a commission if you buy through them, at no additional cost to you.
How it works
When we write about a product, we sometimes link to a retailer that runs an affiliate programme — most often AliExpress, and occasionally other marketplaces. If you follow that link and buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid otherwise.
This is how the site is funded, alongside advertising. It lets us publish without charging readers or taking money from manufacturers.
Where you will see it
Any article containing affiliate links carries a disclosure at the top, before the first link — not buried at the bottom where you would find it after already clicking. Affiliate links themselves are marked with rel="nofollow sponsored", the standard attribute that tells search engines the link is commercial.
What it does not affect
This is the part that matters:
- Commission never decides what we recommend. We regularly tell readers not to buy something we link to, and we say when a branded alternative is worth paying more for even though the affiliate link earns us nothing in that case.
- We are not paid to feature products. No retailer or manufacturer can buy a place in an article. We choose what to cover before any commercial consideration enters.
- We do not receive free products in exchange for coverage.
- We do not have a relationship with the sellers. Being in an affiliate programme gives us no influence with a seller and no ability to help with your order.
An important limit on what we can tell you
We do not physically test the products we link to. Our assessments are built from published specifications, independent reviews and reporting, all cited in the article. We say this plainly in every relevant piece, and we set out the concrete risks of buying from overseas marketplaces — shipping times, the practical reality of warranty claims, quality variation between sellers, and counterfeit risk in that category.
A link from us is not a guarantee. Read the seller's ratings and recent reviews before you buy.
Prices
Prices in our articles carry the date we checked them. Marketplace prices change constantly and coupons expire. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's page before purchasing.
Your privacy
Clicking an affiliate link may allow the destination retailer to set cookies that attribute the sale to us. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours. See our privacy policy for how we handle data on this site.
Advertising
Separately from affiliate links, this site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are selected by Google, not chosen by us, and their presence has no bearing on our editorial content. Details are in the privacy policy.
Questions
If anything here is unclear, or you think we have failed to live up to it, tell us through the contact page. Our full standards are in the editorial policy.
