On May 28, 2025, Opera unveiled a brand-new browser built around AI workflows, called Opera Neon. This innovative release promises to handle everything from shopping and form-filling to writing code on your behalf, all through a set of intuitive sidebar buttons .




AI-Powered Features
Opera Neon introduces three core actions: Chat lets you converse with an AI assistant to search the web and get instant answers; Do employs the Browser Operator agent to complete tasks like trip bookings and form submissions directly in your browser; and Make can generate entire websites, code snippets, reports or even simple games from plain-text prompts .

Cloud-Based Automation
The standout Make feature runs on a virtual machine in the cloud, enabling Opera Neon to execute complex coding workflows offline and in parallel. Whether you need a full webpage built or a quick game prototype, everything happens seamlessly without bogging down your local device .
